We're so pleased to progress you, thank you for taking the time to complete this trial. The aim is to give you an idea of the kind of work that you would do with us, please follow the instructions and complete this within 1-3 days.
Submission:

- The link to your Weebly website builds (Task 1 & Task 5). Feel free to comment about your experience eg. Did you enjoy it? Was it difficult?
- Individual replies to the Client Email Tasks (Task 2, Task 3 & Task 4) presented, relating to Work-in-Progress, Accounts and Support departments.
For reference, we have scripts for most client queries, the aim is just to get a sense of your general abilities and familiarity of the work you may do.
Billing and Management:
- Hours to Charge: You may charge a maximum of 4 hours for the entire trial and complete all of the tasks to the best of your ability.
- Time Allocation: As a guide, 2.5 hours should be spent on Weebly (if you're new to the platform) and 1.5 hours on replying to the sample client questions. You may need longer than this especially if you've not used Weebly before, for the purposes of this trial we will keep this limit as a general guide only.
- From the time you accept the job, we recommend returning the completed trial to us within 3 working days.
Task 1 - Weebly Website Build
To complete your trial, please:
Timeframe:
Task 1 should take 1-2 hours (possibly longer if you are not familiar with Weebly), and you may like to look up some basic video intros to help you along, do let us know how you go and if you enjoy the experience when you submit your website. Please send the link to your trial site along with any thoughts/feedback you had from your experience with Weebly. You may send this in your single email to the address noted above and below.
- Create a free Weebly account and select the free version.
- Re-create the Home and Contact pages from this website in our portfolio: please see the attachment below which contains the banner (you can drag or copy any remaining images/text directly from the website page). The aim is to do a recreation that looks as close as you can get to the original site.
- Publish the website to a temporary Weebly domain (free) and send us the link to review your sample.

I have reviewed my draft website and the content is great. However I do not like the image on the home page banner and I don't want a purple and pink theme as it's a bit old-fashioned and feminine. I would prefer blues, greens, Aqua and turquoise, both for the artwork and the writing. Can you send me some alternative images I can choose from for the home page banner?

Task 5 - Create your own Weebly site
Go to your Weebly account which you have set up and select "Add Site". In this task, we want to see your own initiative on building a website when it comes to choosing images, formatting logo design and integrating other features.
Instructions: Build a website for the same business AG Painting using the same business name, same pages and content. But this time you will do the following:
1. Download the "Example Design Preferences_AU" document below to get an example of what a client may provide us with to guide the design, read through it and get some ideas of what they want.
2. Choose a new template from Weebly's templates based on the client preferences and what they indicated they liked
3. Create your own logo using Weebly's logo editor - you may change the colour scheme and fonts to something you like
4. Create the same pages with the same content, however feel free to add new features from the Weebly Build section if you would like
5. Select your own new banner images for each page and upload a different one to each page. You will need to go to Google Images and search for 3 high quality resolution images that are suitable for the painting business and upload them to each page
